Cris is a computational scientist & an accomplished technology leader with decades of experience in Enterprise software, Machine Learning & High Performance Computing.

Cris holds a PhD in Computational Physics and has more than 25 years of experience as a Computational Scientist working in both Academia and the Industry. He has spent the last 16 years in the field of Computational Finance where Cris has architected enterprise systems and developed pattern detection Machine Learning algorithms for several proprietary trading firms. He is currently teaching in the Financial Mathematics Program at the University of Chicago.

Cris is the founder of ALGOMEX, a seed-stage tech venture that will bring "disruptive" technologies from Artificial Intelligence and Cognitive Computing into the field of Precision Medicine. Cris' vision is to take advantage of an impressive arsenal of technological discoveries in Next Generation Sequencing, Bioinformatics, Machine Learning & High Performance Computing to advance the current state of Medicine and to allow clinicians and patients to take full advantage of the latest technological advances in Precision Medicine.
