Machine learning and deep learning are the most successful sub-fields of artificial intelligence. Today, machine learning algorithms learn from data and solve complex problems from various domains like robotics, physics, medicine, automotive, finance/banking and even the movie industry.

Virgil Petcu and Robert Maria will try to convince you of the importance of deep learning. We also hope you will join our community. This group has been around since March 2017, with meetings and workshops covering a range of topics from object classification and detection to generative adversarial neural networks, super-resolution and neural style transfer.

Our presentation will include both practical and theoretical aspects of deep learning.
